CONVERSION TO CLUBS. UKRANIAN SOVIET EDICT. (Rec. 7 p.m.) London, May 8. The Times’ Riga correspondent states that the Ukranian Soviet Government has ordered the closing of the Roman Catholic, Jewish and Orthodox Russian chapels, which will be converted into clubs for workers. Many places are collecting funds for the re-building of churches.
