PUBLICITY BOARDS

FORMATION URGED. WELLINGTON MOVEMENT. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, May 4. The Associated Chambers of Commerce met to-day to discuss certain matters affecting the question of publicity. About 30 delegates were present, also hotelkeepers and motor and other transport services as well as tourist agencies, etc. Mr. W. Mac Min, who presided, said the best thing would be to formulate definite proposals and wait on the Minister as a deputation. Regret was expressed at the absence of the Minister, Mr. Anderson, and officials of the Publicity Department. It was stated in explanation that the Minister was prepared to receive any deputation and consider concrete proposals. A resolution was carried unanimously that it was desirable to set up a publicity board, the funds to be contributed by the Government and private individuals, the personnel to be a Government nominee and representatives from contributing bodies.
