RYAL BUSH HOUSEHOLDERS’ MEETING.
To the Editor. Sir, —I would crave a little space in your paper to make a few brief explanations. In the limes of April 29 you had a report of the householders’ meeting at Ryal Bush. I First of all I would like to mention that | an unaudited balance-sheet was forced . through after considerable opposition. Also i in your report mention is made of eight I householders from the Lochiel district who | were not allowed to vote by the chairman ' (Mr A. E. Cocker). Those eight people 1 live two miles from Ryal Bush and four miles from Lochiel and there are nine children in that area. I would ask is it ' fair that those persons should be debarred ■ from voting at Ryal Bush. It is also very . noticeable that Mr J. Hamilton’s name is mentioned last in the published list which I shows no respect for that gentleman’s sen- 1 iority. The voting was: Messrs J. Hamil- ! ton 32, A. Fraser 33, T. Hodgkinson 33, I R. Fortune 33 and A. E. Cocker 19. Mr ' Cocker was elected chairman (a minority 1 chairman!. 1 am, etc., FAIR PLAY* I
