ELECTION OF OFFICERS. RESULT OF BALLOT. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, Maj’ 6. The result of the election of officers of the New Zealand Workers’ Union, recently conducted by ballot, was announced to-day by the General Secretary. National President: C. E. Baldwin (Christchurch) ; National Vice-Presidents, A. Brown (Christchurch) and J. Whyte (Wellington) ; General Secretary, A. Cook (Wellington), elected unopposed; Delegates to Alliance of Labour Conference, C. E Baldwin (Christchurch) and J. Whyte (Wellington); Executive Council, A. J. Middlemiss (Gore), R. Eddy (Waimate). A Meighan (Christchurch), T. Tutaki (Fernhill), J. Thom (Wairoa), H. J. Walters (Mount Maunganui) ; Organisers, C. E. Baldwin (Christchurch), J. Donnelly (Greytown), J. G. Leckie (Timaru), A. J. Middlemiss (Gore), A. O’Kane (Gore), J. Townsend (Wanganui) ; J. Whyte (Wellington), W. Wallace (Napier), J. B. Williams (Auckland) ; Delegates to 1927 conference, M. J. Hickey (Balfour), D. N. Clarke (Temuka), J. Cock (Waimate), W. McLennan (Seddon), E. Anderson (Havelock), H. Maynard (Manutuke), J. B. Williams (Auckland), W. Wallace (Napier), H. A. McQuilkin (Miller’s Flat). Mr. A.
