GRANTED TO METAL TRADE UNIONS. (Rec. 11.45 p.m.) Melbourne, May 6. The Full Arbitration Court granted the forty-four hour week principle to all metal trade unions, subject to the qualification that members of the metal trade unions employed in what are known as mixed industries to which the forty-eight hour week principle generally applies, will continue to work under the conditions governing those industries.—A. and N.Z.
