WOOL SALES
SYDNEY SERIES. (Per United Press Association.) (Rec. 10.45 p.m.) Sydney, April 5. At the wool sales there was good competition for all top making sorts at late rates whilst better class staple were in good request at prices 5 per cent, below the level of the last series. Comebacks and crossbreds sold freely at from par to five per cent, above late rates. Greasy merino sold to 31}d—A. and N.Z.
