TARANAKI RESOLUTION FREE CONTROL CONDITIONS DEMANDED ABOLITION OF BOARD NOT . DESIRED * (Per United Press Association.) Hawera, April 5. At a meeting held to-day, called by the Federation of Taranaki Co-operative Dairy Companies, attended by Mr T. A. Winks, J. R. Corrigan and H. D. Forsyth, members of the Dairy Produce Board, and 400 factory suppliers, the following resolution was passed:— "That this meeting of Taranaki dairy producers wishes to revert to the free control conditions as far as the marketing of New’ Zealand dairy produce is concerned, being satisfied that the true function of the board should be restricted to arrangements for shipping and insurance covering the care of all New Zealand produce.” An amendment asking for the elimination of the board was defeated on the voices.
