The West Henshaw is due at Bluff tomorrow from New York, via northern ports.

The Moeraki arrived at Wellington on Monday with passengers, cargo and mails from Melbourne. The City of Kimberley arrived at Lyttelton yesterday from Wellington. The vessel will proceed from Lyttelton to Dunedin and Bluff, where she is due about the middle of April. The Federal steamer Northumberland, which has been in Calliope dock, Auckland, for repairs, will commence loading at Auckland. Tokomaru Bay, Gisborne, Waikokopu, Napier and Wellington on April 26 for London. The C. and D. steamer Port Darwin is scheduled to leave Port Kembla on April 11 for New Zealand ports to load cargo for England. The Arracan is fixed to sail from New York on April 30 with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru and Dunedin. The vessel is due at Auckland about June 3. The New Zealand Shipping Company has been advised by cablegram that the Queen Eleanor arrived at Newport News on March 29 from St. John, on her way to New Zealand ports. A fire which broke out on the Japanese steamer Usuri Maru early on the morning of March 22 caused damage estimated at £l,OOO in the saloon and parts of the officers’ quarters. The vessel is in port at Adelaide. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Tamaroa, which is now completing loading at Wellington, is timed to leave that port at daybreak on Saturday next for Southampton and London, via Panama. ■WIRELESS FROM CITY OF KHOIS. A wireless message received by the A. and A. Line agency from the captain of the City of Khois states that the vessel will arrive at Auckland next Sunday morning from New York. The City of Khois is bringing American cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Hobart and Melbourne. WHITE STAR’S CANADIAN SERVICE. Advice has been received that two new steamers, the Albertic, 19,000 tons, formerly the Ohio, and the Calgaric, 16,063 tons, formerly the Oroa, are to be added to the White Star Line’s Canadian service fleet to serve Quebec and Montreal. Both vessels are owned by the Royal Mail Steam Packet Company, which have been employed largely on special cruises.

NEW AUSTRALIAN SHIPS. The Fezara, the first of the two oil-burn-ing passenger ships purchased for the A.U.S.N. Company’s inter-State service, is now en route to Australia. According to a cable received by MacDonald, Hamilton and Co., Ltd., the liner has left Port Said. She calls at Fremantle, and will then go on to Sydney for docking and alteration, to fit her for the requirements. The second steamer, the Famaka, is expected to leave Port Said in the course of a couple of weeks. These vessels replace the Wyreema and Levuka, recentlv sold to the Brazilian Lion’s and in view of the shortage of passenger tonnage on the coast, their advent is looked forward to with considerable interest. The Fezara and Famaka are sister-ships, from the yards of Messrs A. Stephen and Sons, Ltd., of Glasgow. With a length of 390 ft 6in, beam of 55ft 2in, and depth of 28ft, they both have extensive deck space, and a leading feature is the passenger accommodation, which is planned with due regard to the comfort of the travelling public.
