STRONG GENERAL DEMAND. (Rec. 10.55 p.m.) Sydney, April 4. The seventh series of wool sales commenced with the market fully equal to the closing rates of previous sales. There was a very strong general demand, particularly for comebacks and crossbreds. Greasy merino sold to 28Ad.—A. and N.Z.
