ACCOUNTANT STUDENTS

INVERCARGILL SOCIETY. MONTHLY LECTURE. The first monthly lecture for the 1927 season of the above society was held in their lecture-room last evening before a large and enthusiastic audience. The subjects dealt with were, “Joint Transactions” and “Hire Purchase Accounts,” which were very ably illustrated by Mr E. S. Rea and Mr F. A. Barclay respectively. After dealing with the general principles of their subjects, the lecturers illustrated their remarks by practical blackboard examples, following which, the members entered into keen discussion on the various aspects of the problems under review.

At the close of the discussion a hearty vote of thanks was moved by Mr R. S. Mclnnes to the speakers for the instructive lectures which were dealt with in such an interesting manner.
