PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it by “The Counties Act, 1920,” and “The Health Act, 1920,” the Southland County Council hereby resolves as follows: For the purpose of providing for the expenses of the removal of house refuse (nightsoil and ashes) in that part of the County of Southland hereafter described and to be called the Waikiwi Sanitary Area the said Council intends to make and levy a uniform Annual Charge in lieu of a separate rate upon all properties as have a house or houses erected or to be erected thereon during which the said Council undertakes or contracts for the removal of house refuse (nightsoil and ashes) as aforesaid.
