JOCKEY FATALLY INJURED. Melbourne, February 21. During the running of- the Stanley Steeplechase six horses fell, and a jockey named P. Dinsdale was so badly injured that he died in hospital. Three other jockeys were taken to the hospital.—A. and N.Z. ANOTHER RIDER IN BAD WAY. (Rec. 8.5 p.m.) Melbourne, February 21. The Jockey, P. Dinsdale, who fell during Saturday’s steeplechase and died last night, aged 25, was the leading Melbourne jumping jockey. D. Glennon who fell, on Dannoch, and fractured his skull is in hospital in a bad way.—A. and N.Z.
