DELAYED AT PRAIA. Rome, February 20. Di Pinedo was unable to take off at Praia (Cape Verde Islands) owing to his 'plane being overloaded. He will make another attempt to-day.—A. and N.Z. MACHINE IN ISOLATED SPOT. (Rec. 8.5 p.m.) Madrid, February 21. De Pinedo has had his machine towed to Ribeira del Fresno, an isolated spot from which it is most difficult to get news.—A. and N.Z.
A cable received on February 20 stated: —news comes from Praia (Cape Verde Islands) that the Marchese Di Pinedo intends to fly from that point to Port Natal. He expects to start at 11 o’clock on Saturday night,
