SUDDEN STOPPAGE OF TRAMCAR. MAN SUSTAINS INJURIES. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, December 3. In a claim for damages heard in the Supreme Court, Francis Roberts, salesman, who proceeded against the City Corporation for compensation for injuries received through the sudden stoppage of a twodecker traincar on which he was a passenger, was awarded £l2O and costs on the lowest scale. His Honour said plaintiff had exaggerated the damages, but no doubt he had suffered substantial injuries, particularly to his nervous system.
