ATTEMPT ON SPANISH KINS CONTEMPLATED. Paris, December 2. The Continental editor of the Chicago Tribune reports from Madrid the arrest of four syndicalists armed with revolvers and grenades. It is believed they were preparing to assassinate King Alfonso and General De Rivera. The arrested men confessed to two assassinations in 1924.—A. and N.Z. HUGE PLOT ALLEGED. MUSSOLINI MARKED DOWN. Arising out of the arrest of an anarchist suspected of a plot to kill Primo de Rivera, the police allege that the plot is part of a huge international scheme under which Mussolini is marked out for assassination.— A. & N.Z.
