LEAGUE COUNCIL
FORTHCOMING SESSION. DR. STRESEMANN SPEAKS OUT. (Rec. 8.15 p.m.) London, December 3. Sir Austen Chamberlain has arrived in Paris, where he is remaining until Saturday, when he goes to Geneva for the‘session of the League Council. Dr. Stresemann, who yesterday conferred with M. Tchitcherin, leaves Berlin today. In v a semi-official communique he uses vigorous language regarding the attitude he intends to adopt. He says that although Germany under the Versailles Treaty is bound to submit to investigations in military matters on behalf of the League, when the Allied Commission is withdrawn she intends firmly to resist any perpetuation of the existing form of control.—A. and N.Z.
