WOOL SALES
CHRISTCHURCH SERIES A GOOD SELECTION KEEN BIDDING (Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, December 1. The first wool sale of the Christchurch season was held to-day with a full bench of buyers, representing Bradford, America and Continental bouses, also local nulls and scourers. There was a good selection of fine quality wools, fairly heavy in condition but sound and well grown. A fair proportion was carrying dust owing to the dry winter. Bidding was keen, general and well sustained by the Bradford, Continental and American houses, local mills being in the market for special lines. The following is the range of ;>rices:—• d. d.
