TOURING TEAMS PROPOSED VISITS TO NEW ZEALAND. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) Melbourne, November 1. The President of the Lawn Tennis Association of Australia and New Zealand, Mr Norman Brooks, who recently returned from England, told a meeting of the council of the association that the English Association had promised to send a team, probably including Mr and Mrs Godfree Kingsley, Gregory and either Lester or Austin in the summer of 1927-28. After playing in the American championship the players will spend a week in New Zealand before coming to Australia. The French Association has promised to send a team by the same route, about the same season. There is everj\ prospect of a visit from a Japanese team. Every effort is being made for the visiting teams to include New Zealand in their itineraries.— A. and N.Z.
