LOSSES ON WEMBLEY
A FINAL STATEMENT. CALL ON GUARANTORS, London, October 31. The auditory of the Wembley Exhibition, in a final report, give the losses at £104.000, but this includes outstanding claims which are subject to litigation, and excludes the sale price, which is not yet finalised. The liquidators have advised the guarantors, formally demanding 5/- in the pound, making a total call of 20/-, but they are only calling 2/6 immediately, hoping for a reduction of losses on account of the items mentioned.—A. and N.Z.
