Amongst the passengers arriving in New Zealand by the s.s. Mabeno last week was Dr William Macdonald, FR.C.S.E., who has just returned after two years of special .study in the Old Country. Dr Macdonald was previously in practice in the Levin and Shannon districts. White in London, Dr Macdonald was for a year attached to the Central London Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital, being for a considerable part of that time the senior resident medical officer, and also took the Diploma of Laxyngotegy and k Otdogy of London.
