DAMAGES AWARDED

LOSS OF AN EYE. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, October 28. In the case Joseph Scott v. Harraway and Sons, flourmillers, a claim for £359 16/3 compensation for the loss of an eye and periods of total and partial incapacity, judgment was delivered in the Arbitration Court by Mr Justice Frazer. Compensation for the loss of the eye was allowed on the basis of the schedule injury and the claim for loss of wages allowed as set out by plaintiff. Costs £9 S/- and medical fee £1 was allowed.
