BERMUDA HURRICANE
LOSS OF THE VALERIAN NO, FURTHER SURVIVORS. (Rec. 10.35 p.m.) Vancouver, October 25. The latest despatch from Hamilton, Bermuda, says no more survivors from the Valerian were found. No further details of the disaster are available owing to the condition of those rescued after 18 hours exposure. The damage caused by the hurricane on the island is estimated at 3,000,000 to 5,000,000 dolLars. The winter banana crops were destroyed. Twelve survivors from the freighter Eastway landed at St. George.—A. A N.Z.
