GBOOM KILLED

WHILE WEDDING GUESTS WAITED. London, September 21. While making a last inspection for his bride’s reception, Eric Chappell, aged 28, fell 40ft. from a window of a new flat in Hampstead, two hours before the wedding. He was impaled on the railings, and died. Meanwhile, the guests, ignorant of the I tragedy, were at the church, where the verger announced that a serious accident had happened to the bridegroom. The church was lavishly decorated. The bride had prepared the breakfast table and completed packing her trousseau before she heard the news. —Sun Special.
