TUCK SHOPS NEAR SCHOOLS. REPRESENTATIONS TO GOVERNMENT. (Per United Press Association.) Napier, July 16. The Hawkes Bay Education Board to-day resolved that in the interests of the general health of school children there is urgent necessity for legislation to prevent the erection and trading of tuck shops in proximity to primary and secondary schools and that the Government be asked to include in the Town Planning Bill or some other Bill to be brought before Parliament this session, provision to curtail or restrict this pernicious practice.
