SHEEP-DOGS STRICKEN. DEATHS IN CENTRAL OTAGO. (Per United Press Association.) Dunedin, July 16. A disease which is said to be something in the nature of pneumonia has been responsible for considerable mortality amongst high country sheep dogs in Central Otago. When attacked the victims go down suddenly and die in a few days. Two shepherds have lost dogs valued at £lOO, while several have lost as many as four.
