WAIMUMU NOTES

(From Our Correspondent.) It has been the custom in this district for some years to hold, during the winter months, a series of euchre tournaments, and this year being no exception, the season was opened on Wednesday evening with a dance, at which the residents of Waimumu and the surrounding district were present in full force. About fifty, couples took the floor to (he strains of pleasant music discoursed by Bain’s orchestra, while extras were supplied by Messrs G. Lewis and R. W. Cox. Mr J. Kingdon made an efficient M.C.
