BLUFF POLICE COURT

YESTERDAY’S BUSINESS. At the Bluff Police Court yesterday before Mr C. A. Tipping and Dr Torrance. Justices of the Peace, John Francis Magneil, charged with drunkenness for the third time within six months, was convicted and fined £3 and a prohibition order was issued by consent. William Simmonds, charged with being an idle and disorderly person, was convicted and sentenced to 14 days’ hard labour at the Invercargill gaol.
