FOUND DROWNED. (Per United Press Association.) New Plymouth, Mar. 29. Otto Barr, an elderly farmer of Tarata, was found drowned in a creek on his property this evening by neighbours who became alarmed when he failed to return to the house. He had not been enjoying good health lately. An inquest will be held tomorrow. CHILD’S TRAGIC DEATH. Timaru, Mar. 29. A child, two years of age, a son of Mr J. S. Williams, Temuka, was found drowned in a barrel in which was two feet of water. The child had been playing near the barrel. VERDICT OF SUICIDE. Dunedin, March 26. At the inquest on Robert Wilson, aged 66, killed at Rattray street railway crossing on Monday, the evidence showed that deceased threw himself in front of the engine. The Coroner found that deceased committed suicide.
