A STRANGE CASE
PUNCHED HER SPOOK IS IT BREACH OF COPYRIGHT? A SPIRITUALISTIC ENIGMA (By Telegraph,—Prere Assn.—Copyright.) London, March 28. Spiritualists crowded the Chancery Court in which Mr Justice Eve heard a motion raising a novel point regarding copyright of a spirit communication. Miss Cummins, daughter of the Court physician, described as an automatic medium, sought to restrain Bligh Bond, a psychic worker of world wide reputation, from publishing the chronicle of Cleophas. Both claimed authorship of the script which purported to be a continuation of the Acts o f the Apostles. Miss Cummins claims that she produced the chronicle in a trance. Bond asserts that his hand rested on Miss Cummins, therefore the chronicle was the result of his physic cooperation. Counsel explained that the first article was an uninteresting addition to the story of Ananias and Sapphira. Mr Justice Eve asked whether the automatic writing was English or Greek, and wag informed that the chapter concerning Ananias was in Miss Cummins’ handwriting. The case was adjourned.—Sun Cable.
