TE AUTE COLLEGE

FOUNDATION STONE LAID. (Per United Press Association.) Hastings, March 28. The foundation stone of the main block of the new buildings of the Te Aute Maori College was laid to-day by the GovernorGeneral, Sir Charles Fergusson, in the presence of a gathering of representatives of both races. The new building will comprise an assembly hall and an administration department, with dormitories on the second floor. The religious portion of the ceremony was conducted by the Wishop of Waiapu, assisted by a large number of the diocesan clergy.
