Seaward, is a man to whom it would appear obstacle® are mere trifles. He frequently visits the outlying districts between Orawia and Round Hill, travelling by the means of the good old bicycle, but his latest feat is something rare nowadays. About 9 p.m. on a Sunday not long ago, the Rev. Seaward set out on the long journey to Invercargill. His intentions were to arrive there in time to catch the 7 &jn express which would enable him to react Dunedin in time for the opening of the Anglican Synod in that city. When persuaded not to tackle this long, lonely trip, he said that it could not be as bad as some of his long rides whilst he was in Africa. The Rev. Seaward arrived in Invercargill, at 5.30 a.m. next morning, after what he considered a pleasant trip. The members of the Anglican Church can be congratulated upon obtaining such an enthusiastic and keen minister.
