GREEN’S BODY IN SIGHT, MCDONALD’S FUNERAL. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, October 23. The body of Richard Green, the third victim of the Lake Coleridge tragedy is now in sight of the men who are carrying out the work of recovery in the tunnel, and should be brought out at one o’clock tomorrow morning. It will be taken to the West Coast for burial. The funeral of Archibald McDonald whose body was recovered on Wednesday night took place this afternoon at the Prebbleton cemetery. Mr F. Langbein, district engineer, represented the Public Works Department and Mr J. Baldwin, the New Zealand Workers’ Union. Others present included Mr J. Beban, leader of the Lake Coleridge co-operative party and Messrs G. Archer and H. Daly, who had been entombed in the tunnel for two days.
