POSTAL REVENUE
INCREASE IN SEPTEMBER FIGURES. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, October 23. Figures relating to the revenue for postages for September last, reveal that notwithstanding the reversion to penny postage, the rate of revenue actually exceeded that of September, 1923, when the lid postage rate was in operation. Mr A. Markman, Secretary of the G.P.0., stated to-day, that the revenue for September, 1923, was £99,860, whereas for the corresponding period this year it stood at £lOV45> increase of
