INCOMING OVERSEAS MAILS. The ss. Tahiti is due at Wellington from San Francisco on Monday next. She brings mails for Invercargill from Great Britain and America, and these should reach here by Tuesday night’s express train. TO-DAY, OCTOBER 24.

Mails for Great Britain, Ireland, Continent of Europe, Canada, United States of America, Mexico, Central America, Northern Countries of South America, West Indies; also Fiji, Hawaiian Islands and Japan, close at C.P.O. on Saturday, October 24, at 6.15 a.m., for despatch by R.M.S. Aorangi 1 from Auckland to Vancouver; mail due in London about November 26. MONDAY, OCTOBER 26. Mails for Niue close at C.P.O. on Monday, October 26, at 6.15 a.m. ,for despatch from Auckland by s.s. Hinemoa. TUESDAY, OCTOBER 27. Mails for Australia, Ceylon, India, China, Japan, Straits Settlements, Egypt, South Africa, etc., close at C.P.O. on Tuesday, October 27, at 6.15 a.m., for despatch by s-s. Tahiti, from Wellington to Sydney. LABOUR DAY, OCTOBER 26, 1925. POST OFFICE. A delivery of all correspondence, including registered, will be made over the counter i for an hour, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the evening of Saturday, October 24. Mails usually despatched after 7.15 a.m. • on Monday will be closed at that time. I Except in special cases, mails will not be despatched to the smaller post offices in the Invercargill district. The Post Office will be closed in all its branches, including the Money Order and Savings Bank branch. TELEGRAPH OFFICE. The Telegraph Office will be open from I 9 a.m. to noon, and from 7 p.m. to mid- . night. The public are notified that holiday rates i will be charged for all telegrams. TELEPHONE EXCHANGE.
