ALGARSSON’S EXPEDITION RETURNS. THRILLING EXPERIENCES. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.---Copyright.) (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) OSLO, October 22. Members of Algarsson’s expendition have arrived at Tromsoe. Their steamer was frozen into the ice of Franz Josef Land and only freed after a great struggle with the propeller broken. . She managed to make a southward course with the aid of sails until she arrived off Green harbour, Spitzbergen, where she was taken in tow for Tromsoe. The expedition found conditions more difficult than expected. The expedition will be renewed in 1926.
