FARMERS’ UNION RALLY
FUNCTION AT HEDDON BUSH. A very enjoyable social and dance, under the auspices of the Heddon Bush branch of the New Zealand Farmers’ Union, was held on Wednesday evening. There was a splendid attendance, Mr George Matheson (chairman), presiding. Messrs Alexander McKenzie, Otahuti, (President of the Provincial Union), W. Ford, Isla Bank (vice-preseident), and A. L. Adamson (provincial secretary), also attended and addressed the gathering on matters of interest concerning the Farmers’ Union. Supper was provided and dancing indulged in till a late hour.
