OCCIDENTS TO SHUNTERS
BOARD OF ENQUIRY TO BE SET UP.

WELLINGTON, July 1
In consequence of the agitation following the recent accidents to shunters, a Board of Enquiry is being appointed under the Railways Act.
The Order of Reference covers ten points, including a question whether the layout of the various station yards is safe, the length of shifts, general supervision, lighting and drainage.
