TRUCKS OR HORSES?

To the Editor. Sir,—We have heard a lot of argument about British and Yankee motor trucks. The following cutting from the Weekly Scotsman of 25-2-25 will be interesting:— Clydesdale horses are in great demand in Canada owing to the fact that many large industrial concerns are going back to the horse in preference to the motor for haulage work, because they find the horse more economical. If this is the case in Canada where they make trucks and get their petrol so much cheaper are we wise having anything to do with motor trucks at all?—I am, etc., NO ARGUMENT.
