BRITAIN’S BUDGET
REDUCTION OF INCOME TAX. (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright/ (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.) LONDON, March 14. The Navy Estimates complete the expenditure side of the Budget, which, apart from debt charges, totals £407,470,000, compared with £416,485,000 for 1924-25. The lobby correspondent of the Daily Express says that the income tax will definitely be reduced by sixpence. Mr Churchill has decided against penny postage, and a reduction of the beer duty.
