DESTROYERS TO VISIT AUSTRALIA. (By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright.) (Reuter’s Telegrams.) VANCOUVER, January 27. (Received January 27, 8.50 p.m.) Rear-Admiral Schofield, Commander of the Destroyer Force, announced at San Diego, California, that 24 destroyers, with the scout cruiser Omethff and probably the tenders Altair and Melville, will cruise to Australia next summer, after the fleet manoeuvres off Hawaii. The names of the destroyers were not stated.
