PORT OF BLUFF. .ARRIVED. —Monday, January 26 Whangape, s.s. (3.35 p.m.), 2931 tons, Swales-Eyre, from Newcastle. VESSEL IN PORT. Whangape, s-s. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Port Melbourne, Dunedin, to-morrow. Calm, Lyttelton, to-morrow. Karetu, Oamaru, Saturday. PROJECTED DEPARTURES. Whangape, Oamaru, to-morrow. Calm, Dunedin, to-morrow. Port Melbourne, Lyttelton, Friday. Karetu, Sydney, Monday. GENERAL NOTES. The Wbangape arrived from Newcastle yesterday afternoon to discharge coal. She sails to-morrow for Oamaru to complete discharge. The Karetu is due at Lyttelton about tomorrow from Sydney and also discharges at Dunedin, Oamaru and Bluff. She is due here about Saturday and on Monday proceeds to Sydney direct. The Port Melbourne, from New York via Wellington and Lyttelton, is now at Dunedin and later comes to Bluff. She is due here tomorrow to load frozen meat, dairy produce and general cargo for London and sails about the end of the week for Lyttelton and Wellington. The Calm is due at Bluff to-morrow with cargo from Lyttelton, and is to sail the same day for Dunedin and northern ports. ORETTS MOVEMENTS. The Oreti, which arrived at Port Craig yesterday from Invercargill is to sail to-day with a timber cargo for Dunedin. She then returns to with general cargo and is due on Friday or Saturday. KOTARE’S SALVAGE WORK. The Kot are, which has been engaged in salvage work at the wreck of the Konini for about a fortnight, is expected at Invercargill to-day with fittings, cables, etc. THE MELBOURNE SERVICE. The Manuka is to leave Wellington today for Melbourne. Sfhe then returns to Bluff and is due here on February 9, sailing the same day for Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington and Melbourne. The Moeraki is still held up at Melbourne by the strike. TELEGRAPHED REPORTS. COASTAL AND OVERSEAS. LYTTELTON, January’ 26. Arrived: Opua, from Wanganui; Flora, from Gisborne. Sailed: Kawau, trawler, for Port Chalmers; Waikouaiti, for Timaru; Maori, for Wellington. WELLINGTON, January 26. Sailed: Tutanekai. for northern lighthouses; Sydic and Wahine, for Lyttelton; Storm, for Wanganui. AUCKLAND. January 26. Arrived: Tofua, from Fiji, Tahiti, from Wellington. Sailed: Ngakuta, for Greymouth.

TRANSPACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS. UNION COMPANY’S SERVICE. The Hauraki leaves Wellington on Monday, January 26, for Papette, Fanning Island and San Francisco. She loads .'it Vancouver and San Francisco during March for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. The Waitemata is due at San Francisco on February 5 to load probably for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunedin, Bluff and New Plymouth and is expected to clear San Fiancisco in the third week of February’. The Sheaf Mount left Napier on Saturday for Wellington, thence Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. After completion of discharge she re-delivers to her owners in Australia. The Waiotapu, now at Vancouver, proceeds to San Francisco this week to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. The Wairuna from San Francisco is due at Papeete to-day and proceeds thence to Auckland, Wellington, Melbourne and Sydney. The Trelyon left Melbourne on Saturday for Sydney and Newcastle to complete discharge and re-deliver to her owners.
