LONDON, January ‘25: (Received January 26, 7.5 p.m.) fhe Paris correspondent of the Daily Express says that Germany is making unofficial soundings for a France-German guarantee pact. The French Government it awaiting developments. It is suggested that the Germans are merely seeking to delay negotiations for an Angio-French-Belgian pact. French Socialists are opposed to a FrancoGerman pact, one of the leaders declaring that it could only be directed against Britain.
