SAD SUICIDE

OLD MAN’S END. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, January 20. James Foreman Kingsford Tucker, aged 67, a blacksmith, was found hanging at his home to-day. At the inquest a note left by deceased was read, to the effect that for some time he had been suffering from a growth in the nose, which was beginning to affect his throat and head. He was deaf, and at times he became depressed. The note concluded: “I do not want to be a burden on my family, who have been very good to me.” A verdict of death by strangulation was returned.
