DRUNKEN MOTORIST
PROHIBITED FROM DRIVING A CAR. WANGANUI, December 22, At the Police Court to-day, a local farmer named Wyverne George Moore was charged with being drunk when driving a motorcar. The case was a sequel to the collision which took place between defendant’s car and a tramcar in the Avenue on Thursday night. The Magistrate convicted defendant and placed him on probation for three years and prohibited him from driving a car during that period.
