FATAL ASSAULT
A DUNEDIN TRAGEDY. (Per United Press Association.) DUNEDIN, December 23. A disturbance took place in Cumberland street about 7.15 this evening when a man is alleged to have knocked another down and kicked him. As a result, the assaulted one died in the hospital after admission. Deceased’s identity is not known but he is believed to be a visitor from Cromwell aged about 45 years. Detectives arrested a man late to-night who Is alleged to have committed the assault.
