Port Chalmers, New Plymouth, November 21. NOTES. The Turakina sailed on Saturday morning to continue her Homeward loading at Dunedin and northern ports. The Kahika sailed on Saturday evening for Dunedin to complete discharge of her West Coast coaL The Cahn worked cargo all day on Saturday, sailing in the evening for Dunedin, Wellington and Wanganui. The Kawatiri, from Newcastle and Port Stephens, via Lyttelton and Timaru is due at Bluff to-morrow morning with a shipment of poles for the Power Board. She is expected to sail for Newcastle on Friday. The Kurow is due on Thursday next from Port Stephens, via Dunedin. The Water Lily and Violet left at 9 a.m. yesterday for Stewart Island. The Canadian Challenger, which left Adelaide last Tuesday is expected at Bluff tomorrow morning to load for Boston, New York and Halifax. She sails to-morrow night to continue loading at Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland, leaving the last named port for America about the end of the month. The Hertford which is discharging cargo from West Coast of United Kingdom ports also loads at Bluff for London. She is to sail about Saturday to continue loading at Auckland, Tokomaru Bay, Napier, Wellington and Lyttelton, and leaves the last named port on December 18 for London via Panama. The Port Chalmers is due on November 19 from New York via New Zealand ports to complete discharge of her American cargo. She loads here and at New Plymouth, Wellington, Napier and Auckland for Genoa. The Port Campbell is due at Bluff on November 23 from Australia to commence loading for New York, Boston and London. Her other loading ports are Port Chalmers, Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier and Auckland. The Port Campbell will sail finally from Auckland about December 10.

The Port Hunter sailed from London on October 19 for Wellington and Dunedin with general cargo. The vessel, however, will call at Auckland first to discharge about 270 tons of explosives. She is due at Auckland about November 27, and at Dunedin about December 8. From Dunedin the Port Hunter will come to Bluff to commence Homeward loading. She will subsequently load at Timaru, Auckland, Napier, Wellington and Lyttelton, and will sail finally from the Canterbury- port about January 10 for London, via Cape Horn. The Zealandic is due at New Plymouth about December 20 from Australia to commence Homeward loading. She will load also at Lyttelton, Bluff, first week in January) Port Chalmers, W llington and Auckland. The vessel will be despatched from Auckland about January 21 for London. THE MELBOURNE STEAMER. The Moeraki which left Bluff on Tuesday afternoon, arrived at Melbourne on Saturday and is scheduled to leave again on Wednesday for Bluff direct. She is expected at Bluff next Sunday with passengers, mails and cargo, and sails on Monday for Dunedin, Lyttelton, Wellington and Melbourne. PACIFIC MAIL SERVICES. MOVEMENTS OF STEAMERS. A fire in the bunkers amidships on the steamer Port Albany at Hull was extinguished after two days strenuous work, the fire brigade assisting. THE AORANGI. TRIALS SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED. LONDON, November 9. The Union Company’s Aorangi has completed her trials. About 1000 Australian and New Zealand passengers are booked by her for the next trip.
