“SPIRIT” MESSAGES

CONAN DOYLE’S TALE, (Sun Special.) LONDON, October 9. Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, referring to the spirit messages stated to have been received from the late Lord Northcliffe by Mies Louise Owen, his former secretary, says: “I do not see how any reasonable being could possibly doubt that Lord Northcliffe himself sent the messages. When I was in New York in 1923 I had a long communication purporting to come from Lord Noftheliffe through a medium. I gave a resume of these messages on pages 24 and 25 of “Our Second American Adventure.” “Lord Northcliffe told me several things which nobody hut himself knew. I have since ascertained them to be true.” Mr Hannen 8 waff er, in "The People,” gives details of a seance with Mr Dennis Bradley on October 12, in which messages alleged to be from Lord Northcliffe were repeated through Mrs Leonard, a medium. Notes were taken, and will be submitted to the Psychic Research Society.
