(Received November 8, 12.15 a.m.) The butter market is dull and buyers are holding off in view of large prospective supplies. The Germans are greatly restricting their purchases of Danish butter which has declined to about 218/- and 220/-. New Zealand butter is scarce. Choicest brings 212/- and 214/- and exceptionally good lots 21-8/- to 220/-. Australian is at from 194/to 196/- and unsalted 202/- to 208/-. The cheese market is quiet and prices are unchanged. Bradford tops are firm and there is a good inquiry and fair business passing. 64’s quality is quoted at 78d, 60's 72d, 50’s 39d, 46’s 30d. ANTWERP WOOL SALES. HIGH LIMITS RESTRICT COMPETITION. ANTWERP, November 6. (Received November 8,2 ami.) At the wool sales 4,800 bales were offered and about 1600 sold, the high limits causing many lots to be withdrawn. Merinos were fully on a par with the September prices, while crossbreds advanced five per cent.
