“BANK ACCOUNT IN INVERCARGILL.” (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, November 5. At the Police Court to-day, Mina Mary Lang, aged 22, who is believed to be identical with the young woman who gained some notoriety in Christchurch by absconding while on probation and allegedly misappropriating over £lOO of her employer’s money, appeared on a charge of having obtained goods valued at £lO 11/4 from John Court, Ltd, drapers, by representing that she had an account at a bank in Invercargill. Accused was remanded for a week, bail being refused.
