BLUFF JUVENILES MEET. Court Pride of Dominion held its monthly meeting in the Athenaeum Hall, Bluff, on Monday evening. C.R. Bro. Fowler, presided over a large attendance of members, 27 members of Court Southern’s Pride, South Invercargill accompanied by four members of their adult Management Committee, paid an official visit. President Bro. J. A. Silvester extended a hearty welcome to the visitors on this, their first visit to the local Court, and trusted that would be the forerunner of many such gatherings between the different Courts in the Southland part of the district. V.P., Bro. W. Bridges, of the Juvenile Council returned thanks on behalf of the visitors, stating that all the juvenile branches in the district had increased in membership during the year, two new Courts for boys had been opened in Roxburgh and Gore, and a Court for girls was to be established at Gore on Saturday next. The President intimated that four new candidates were in attendance for initiation, and asked the visiting officers to conduct the initiation ceremony, a duty which they carried out very efficiently. After the meeting the visitors were entertained to a social evening. Songs, recitations and boxing bouts helped to pass away a pleasant hour, and after doing justice to a bountiful supper provided by the local Management Committee, the gathering concluded with the singing of the National Anthem; rhe visitors leaving for home pe* motor ’bus at 10 p.m.
